What is difference betwen hash table and dictionary and which is best in which condition??

  1. Basic Difference between Hash Table and dictionary is:
    Dictionary store the object as strongly typed means there is no need of Boxing and unbooxing ..
    While in Hash Table U Have to use Boxing and Unboxing while retrieving Data both used to store key/value Pair...
    Now boxing and unBoxing Means
    Converting one object into another Object...

    2. Diffrence is Thread safety...I dont Now Much about it but I will Let U Now...

    Are

    Dictionary Is A Generic Collection While Hash Table Not Because Of This Reason Dictionary Is Fully Type Safe While Hash Table Not Type Safe Beside It In Performance Dictionary Is Faster As Compare to Hash Table Because Hash Table Required Boxing And Unboxing While Dictionary Does Not

    Which Is Batter Its Completely Depends On The Requirement But Over All If Dictionary Can Full Fill Our Requirement Then Its Good Habit To Use
    Dictionary and Dictionary Is Much Batter
